Delchev: Many Ukrainian companies decided to move their business to Bulgaria

In the last 4 months many Ukrainian companies decided to relocate or move part of their business to Bulgaria. Bulgarian business needs assistance to find new markets in Ukraine where more than 250 000 Besarabian Bulgarians live nowadays.
This was said by Andrey Delchev, managing partner of Andrey Delchev and Partners – Eurolex, at the meeting of the Bulgarian Ukrainian Industrial Chamber which took place on the 7th July 2022.
The law office hosted the event, where His Excellency Mr. Vitaly Moskalenko, special ambassador of Ukraine in Sofia, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, Chair of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ms. Lilia Ivanova, Chair of Bulgarian Ukrainian Industrial Chamber, Ivan Plachkov, chair of Ukrainian Bulgarian Chamber and members of the organization took part.
We heartedly welcome the decision of Ukraine to become member of the European Union. Bulgaria may provide good assistance with our 15 years of membership experience in order to ensure faster and smoother integration of Ukraine, added Mr. Delchev.
Ms. Lilia Ivanova announced the conclusion of Cooperation agreement between BUIC and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce to serve as a basis of more intense trade relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Moskalenko emphasized the potential for Bulgaria to play a key role at solving the problems of Ukraine giving as an example the troubles with transport of agriculture and goods from and to Ukraine.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov witnessed his full support for BUIC’s activity and congratulated the host from AD&P – Eurolex for the organization of the event.
Within the following months BUIC will organize a forum focused on the opportunities and problems before the technology sectors in Bulgaria and Ukraine. The participating members expressed their hope for incoming end of the war and rapid reconstruction of Ukraine.
